Construction is ongoing on the former Aud Block adjacent to Canalside. The historically aligned Canals, interpret the alignment of the Erie Canal, which once crossed the site, and are designed to evoke the character and vibrancy of the historic Canal District. Ground was broken on this $23 million project earlier this year in May. It is meant to emphasize downtown Buffalo’s connection to the waterfront.
