George L. Churakos – President 

Starting with the company in 1999, George grew within the company and worked firsthand to expand the business over 25 years.  With an entrepreneurial spirit, George has led the company through the completion of numerous successful, high-profile civil construction projects throughout Western New York.  His expertise includes strategic and financial planning, estimating, and all phases of project management.  

Jeffrey V. Salvatore – Chief Estimator 

Jeff has over 40 years of experience in heavy construction field management and cost estimating to the company. Starting as a Superintendent and Project Manager, Jeff has contributed to the growth of the company and directs our estimating team and manages frontline client relations and business development.   

Jason A. Churakos – Chief Financial Officer 

After spending 7 years as a financial analyst working on major federal contracts, Jason joined the company in 2010 to supervise and oversee accounting and finance.  He works to monitor the financial system and directs staff to provide accurate and timely managerial and financial reports.  Jason works with banks and bonding companies to meet our financial needs. 

George J. Lodick III – Chief Operating Officer 

George works with all divisions and departments to ensure the efficient delivery of services necessary to provide the highest level of quality to our clients.  Operationally, George brings over 30 years of municipal, industrial and construction experience to oversee contracts, project management, risk management, training and technology resources. 

Michael Pauly – Safety Manager 

Michael has 25+ years as a proficient and results driven professional who has demonstrated experience in Environmental Health and Safety Management. Utilizing Integrated Safety Management, his leadership, strategic planning, and implementation skills ensure safe performance across our organization.   

Vincent J. Cerrone – VP/General Superintendent 

With over 40 years of field leadership, Vince directs multiple field operations and coordinates logistics between projects.  Starting as a union laborer, Vince has made a career in heavy civil construction and has led hundreds of projects. He is a hard-charging field manager whose style helps ensure productivity while quality and safety goals are met. 

Thomas Johnston – General Superintendent 

With over 25 years of civil, environmental and demolition experience, Tom provides excellent field leadership for our company’s projects. From equipment operation to site supervisor and now superintendent, Tom is a key leader on our field management team whose responsibilities include coordinating equipment resources, overseeing acquisition, maintenance and scheduling. 

Justin Romanow – General Superintendent 

Justin has the expertise to oversee subcontractors, field labor, follow construction schedules, monitor progress, budgets and expenses after over 20 years of experience managing remediation, demolition and civil projects. Justin is a strong field management team member, able to motivate others to achieve safe production results while also exceling in unpredictable and hectic environments. 

Lyle Hewitt – Asbestos Superintendent 

A 30-year construction veteran, Lyle manages the field-side of all asbestos abatement projects. He is extremely experienced will all Federal and State Regulations regarding the removal and handling of asbestos-containing materials.  Lyle is key leader in our Asbestos Division and provides strong leadership to our teams. 

Ethan Stein – Industrial and Rail Superintendent 

Ethan coordinates and manages the company’s railroad and industrial projects.  Having worked rail and industrial construction project for over 40 years, he has the skill to oversee several concurrent projects while maintaining an excellent safety record and has developed strong, work relationships with plant managers and engineers.
